MVP Trophy

The idea behind the MHS MVP came to be as a way to recognize the phenomenal teachers at MHS, and shine some positive light on why they truly are the best in education. While the trophy is simply a gold painted He-Man figurine heavily glued on half of an oversized plastic easter egg, the trophy represents so much more than plastic and hot glue. The MHS MVP Trophy is a traveling trophy that finds its way to a new teacher each month based on the previous winner's nomination. The initial winner, Coach Brad Chesshir, was chosen by the MHS office suite. From there, Coach Chesshir chose Mr. Reggie Lamb. Since then, the recipients have been Mrs. Gail Wood, Mrs. Alma Barnes, and most recently Mrs. Danielle Bobo. When asked to describe the trophy winners, MHS students said the MVP teachers had the greatest qualities: hardworking, supportive, caring, like a second parent, a team player, confident, and trustworthy.

It is always a GREAT day to be a RATTLER, but its even better knowing you've got the best of the best educating and caring for our district's students. Stay tuned to see second semester recipients of the MHS MVP! #GoRattlers
