Mrs. Motley’s Algebra 1 students completed the “I need a larger recipe” project this week, complete with cooking at home and enjoying the meal at school. Students gained real knowledge of what is required to increase the size of a recipe to accommodate a larger group of people by using equivalent fractions, ratios, and proportional relationships. You can’t beat that kind of math! And just in time for Thanksgiving!

How about a little “Just Dance” competition in geometry, because that’s how everyone should learn about angle relationships MHS.
