Sophomore Elizabeth Evans competed in the Arkansas Heptathlon in Cabot on May 16th and 17th. Evans scored 2,954 pts total and finished 38 out of 81 participants. Evans was the highest scoring 2A finisher in the competition, and finished behind 29 participants from 5-7A classifications.
The Rattler family sends our warmest thoughts and prayers to our friends in Foreman during this difficult time.
Congrats to Carol Hill on winning the Mossberg Patriot .270 last night in our gun raffle. Next week we will be raffling off a Mossberg Patriot 30-06. Tickets are still available to be purchased. #GoRattlers
Athletic banquet will be May 21st at 5:30 in the Activity Room. Athletes get in free, and all non-athletes will be charged 10 dollars for entry.
Congrats to Angie Hammonds on winning the Savage Axis .243 last night in our gun raffle. We have now given away 2 guns with 3 more to go! Next week we will be raffling off a Mossberg Patriot .270. Tickets are still available to be purchased. #GoRattlers
We have a winner! The number selected for tonight was 801, however due to that ticket not being sold we go back until we have a winning number that has been sold. The official winning number for tonight is 965.

One gun down and four to go! The Gun Raffle fundraiser is going great! The winner of the Savage Axis .223 from this past Wednesday was Eugene Hill. Tickets are still available for purchase.
Lady Rattler softball Regional Tournament has been postponed due to rain. They will play tomorrow at 1:30 in Poyen.
Rattler Baseball team beginning play now, ahead of schedule due to impending weather concerns. Go Rattlers!!
Congratulations to the Lady Rattlers competing at the 2A state meet today. The Lady Rattlers finished:
Lainie Baxter- 7th pole vault
Abby Maroon- 7th discus
Madison Humphry- 2nd shot
Elizabeth Evans- 2nd high jump, 7th 400m
4x8- Emma Corbitt, Lainie Baxter, Lainy Alexander, Brady Hignight- 4th place
4x1- Loran Wilcher, Lainy Alexander, Brady Hignight, Elizabeth Evans- 6th place
Rattler Athletics Fundraiser: The Murfreesboro High School athletic department will be having a 5 gun raffle to raise funds for uniforms, gear, etc. for our athletes. Info about tickets are provided in the picture attached. Cost is $10 per ticket.
If you are interested in purchasing a ticket, you can contact any student-athlete in 7-12 grade or contact Coach McRae. First drawing will be May 2nd!
