For the final day of Kindness Week at MES, kind letters of appreciation went out to some of the most important people at South Pike County. The teachers! Notes and cards made by the Kindness Committee were left on their cars for them to find.

You will not find an art teacher who is more proud of her students than Mrs. Wood, and her students think highly of her, too. Nicole Beaty created this graphite drawing of Mrs. Wood. The artwork now sits framed on Mrs. Wood's desk as her latest and most prized portrait.
EAST Initiative has released the top three finalists in 19 different project competitions. These students placed in the top three of their respective categories for the projects they submitted. We will find out if they are the overall winners at the conference in March. Congrats!
