Basketball Update: per the Director of the umpire jr tournament, games for Jan 17th have been postponed. More information on the tournament will be put out no later than Friday Jan 19th. Please help spread the word, no Umpire Jr Tournament games tomorrow. #GoRattlers


With the temperature above freezing tomorrow by noon, Umpire is hosting its jr tournament games tomorrow at normal times. Please read the following agenda for practices, bus leave time, and game times. #GoRattlers


After driving bus routes, SPCSD has decided to wait one more day to let temperatures rise and take care of the snow and ice that is lingering. Our students' and parents' safety are a priority to us. Stay warm and see everyone on Thursday! It's always a great day to be a Rattler!

The SPCSD school board meeting tonight, Jan 15, will be postponed. It is rescheduled for Thursday, Jan 18 at 6:00 pm.

South Pike County Schools will be closed Tuesday, January 16, 2024 due to weather. Please be safe and stay warm!

Tournament Schedule Time Change: The junior Lady Rattlers will play tomorrow Jan 13th in the Umpire Jr Tournament at 2:00 pm, not 7:00 pm. Umpire will be fitting in Monday's games on Saturday for weather precautions. Please note this time change. #GoRattlers

Water Observations in 5th grade science: Students used the globe to produce educated observations about how much water is on the earth and where water is on the earth. Also they predicted if they would catch the globe on water or on land.



We have higher level thinkers in our kindergarten at MES! These students are making comparisions based upon the area of a circle.







Brody Maroon, a MHS Junior, was offered a baseball scholarship from a Division I JUCO baseball program at Allen Community College in Kansas. Congratulations, Brody! #GoRattlers
