
Murfreesboro Elementary recently held their first ever Fun Run for a Fall fundraiser. Students were sponsored by family, friends, and businesses to run. The top runners in k-2 and 3-6 then raced for the championship. Afterwards students participated in a color run full of fun!











The 7th grade and Jr High Rattlers travel to Horatio tonight to take on the Lions! 7th grade starts at 6:00 and Jr High kicks off at 7:00! See you in Horatio! GO RED!!!

South Pike County students are happy to see some cooler temps this week! On this Throwback Thursday, check out the experiment that Mrs. Stokes 4th grade class conducted during those 100 degree temperatures. Each student made estimates on what temperature it would take to melt the crayons. Check out the before and after photos.





MHS BETA Club Officers participated in the Leadership Summit in Hot Spring, AR. They won full points on their competition "Lead Outside the Box" and have qualified for Nationals in Savannah, GA this summer!






The Nathan bus route will be running 30 minutes late this morning.

Student Council is selling Pink Out shirts for the Pep Rally/Game on Oct. 20th. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Please return the forms by Oct. 11th. Forms will be sent home with elementary students. Forms are available in the MHS office.
