MHS bragging moment: Layken Stone and Paige Roden have brought home checks and ribbons for their winning entries in the Pike County Fair art competition. Layken won Grand Champion and First Place for her pencil drawings of her grandfather, and First Place for her self-portrait. Paige won Third Place for her colored pencil Fantasy art. The annual Smoked Chicken Dinner fundraiser for boy's and girl's basketball will be September 30th. Here is the information to get a ticket. Please help support our programs. Ticket purchase due Sept. 27th. We will deliver to businesses in Nashville, Murfreesboro, Delight, & Kirby.

Due to Teacher Professional Development, SPCSD will release students early Wednesday, September 14th. Be sure to mark your calendars for the next early release dates for Teacher Professional Development meetings; October 12th, November 9th, February 8th, March 8th, and April 12th.
Students will also be released early Thursday, September 15th for Parent Teacher Conferences. Conferences will be held Thursday from 2:30PM-6:30PM
