SPCSD wants everyone to be careful traveling today. Buses are running but will be taking extra precautions and may be running a little late. We want everyone to do the same and tardiness will not be held against students today. School is open but safety is first. Be safe and stay warm!

FBLA District IV Spring Conference was yesterday and our Rattlers showed out! All 3 teams advanced to state! 1st place - Business Ethics (Levi, Dani, Sierra) 1st place - Intro to Social Media (Jocee, Jenna, Jamie) 4th place - Intro to Event Planning (Santana, Natalie, Reid) Thank you, Mrs. Collins and Mrs. Maroon, for all that you do!

Due to the threat of inclement weather the SPCSD will be closed Thursday, February 3rd. Teachers will be available via email for assistance during school hours. AMI work will be provided digitally. Games at Kirby on Thursday have been cancelled. #GoRattlers

Junior High District Tournament Brackets Jr Girls play @ 3:00 pm Saturday followed by the boys @ 4:15 pm. Tournament is at Caddo Hills. #Go Rattlers

Senior Recognition will be Tuesday, February 8th at 6:30. We will recognize basketball, archery, and track. Seniors and their parents need to be at the gym by 6:15.

Friday Night’s basketball games vs Cutter Morning Star will be their homecoming. The game order for the night will be Junior Girls @ 5:00 pm, with Senior boys playing second, & Senior girls playing last. Please spread the word on the order being different. #GoRattlers

Basketball Schedule Change: Tomorrow’s make-up game at Poyen has been changed on details. The JB & SB will play tomorrow Jan 20th at Poyen with a 5:00 pm start. The Senior girls will not play tomorrow night. The girls will be rescheduled for a later date. #GoRattlers

Basketball Update: The Senior girls & Senior boys will play Ouachita on Friday, Jan 14th at Murfreesboro. Tip off for senior girls will be 5:00 pm. #GoRattlers

As of now South Pike County has 2% of our students that are COVID positive and 12% of our students that are quarantined due to being a close contact. We plan to continue on-site instruction as long as possible. We are encouraging all students to wear a mask at school and we are following all guidelines in our classrooms to help decrease the spread of the virus on campus. We just encourage everyone if you are sick please stay home. The updated guidelines and any other new information can be found on our website under the Covid-19 tab at Rattlers.org.
