This year MES is partnering with Rattler Athletics to establish Adopt A Rattler! This season each homeroom classroom has adopted a MHS Rattler Football player who they will support by making signs, giving treats, and cheering them on at Pep Rally’s. The adopted Rattler will visit the classroom each week to see their “family”. The players will get to speak to students about what it means to be a Rattler Athlete, encourage students, and maybe read a few stories to them. This was their first time meeting their new classroom families.
Reminder! There will be no school on Monday, September 4th, in observance of the Labor Day Holiday. School will resume Tuesday, September 5th.

It's been a great start to the beginning of school. One of our first senior shoutouts go to Emmy Salter! Over the summer, Emmy was accepted to the SAU Tech EMT/Fire Fighter program. While there, she will complete a fire science degree plan and be eligible for employment upon completion. Congrats, Emmy! What a brave and honorable career path! #GoRattlers
