Let's give this fabulous 5 and Mr. Lamb a huge shoutout for making it to the State Youth Shooting Sports competition on June 2nd! The Rattle Traps' journey has been interesting this year! Out of the 25 MHS participants, Cole McKnight, Colton Jackson, Cale Humphry, Branson McMillian, and Hunter Sweat are the top five qualifiers. The Rattle Traps going to state are ranked 9th out of 128 squads in the region. Be sure to check back on June 2nd for their trophy picture, because we know they're gonna take State! #GoRattlers
Being a teacher is a unique calling. Teachers do so much more than just educate students. Teachers are behind the scenes helping and assisting students in ways that often go unnoticed or unannounced. MHS is blessed to have so many teachers that care for our students beyond academics, and it shows in the support from the community!

MHS' FBLA members at competing at Nationals in Atlanta this summer and Mr. Eckert is lending his comedic skills to help raise funds for their travel expenses. There will also be a bake auction. Entertainment and treats can't be beat!

Did you know that the Hospitality & Tourism Industry is the 2nd largest industry in the state of Arkansas?
This year Mrs. Maroon started a new program of study called Hospitality & Tourism in our Business Department. Mrs. Maroon’s Travel & Tourism class has been visiting popular tourist spots outside of our own Crater of Diamonds. They recently visited Petit Jean State Park and Mt. Magazine State Park. These students got to experience and see what many people come to our state to do! #GoRattlers
The 6th graders took a tour of the High School today. The students were led through the Highschool by student representatives to see various sights they will experience as 7th grade students. They toured classrooms and even were able to meet some teachers along the way. The student representatives were also able to answer any questions the 6th graders might have with their future High School lives. Afterwards they met with Mrs. Stone to set their schedules for next year.

Rattler Baseball defeats Parkers Chapel by a score of 13-11 to make the state tournament! They play Woodlawn tomorrow in the second round of the Regional Tournament. First pitch at 12:00. #GoRattlers
