Congratulations are in order for some of our band kiddos! 14 of our students competed at Solo and Ensemble Friday at Mountain Pine, and they all did AMAZING!
They brought home:
12 - Division 1 Superior Medals
6 - Division 2 Excellent Medals
4- Division 3 Good Ratings
Aurora Stone also qualified for State for her solo! She will compete May 5th!
Third Graders had a a Multiplication Fact Flash Card Battle. These students made it to the finals-top 20! Emmitt Morris was the Runner-Up! Rhett Jones was the Champion!

EAST at Murfreesboro was recently awarded a $250 Amazon Gift card for "the students' hard work, creativity, and dedication..." @ EASTcon25! MHS was a top five finalist for BEST in Conference Booth, and designed the 2025 conference logo. #EastInitiative

MHS Beta Club seniors attend their last meeting. These students maintained at least a 3.0 GPA and volunteered a combined 1766 hours of community service since joining Beta Club. They will be distinguished at graduation by wearing gold stoles.

In the 2025 Congressional Art Competition/Congressman Bruce Westerman’s 4th District, two of Murfreesboro High School’s students won 2 out of 5 places . Nicole Beaty was presented with a 2nd place certificate by Congressman Bruce Westerman for her drawing titled Hysteria. Layken Stone was presented with a 3rd place certificate by Congressman Bruce Westerman for her painting titled Honey and Grumps. Congratulations to our two talented artist. South Pike County School District is very proud of you.
