Due to the uncertainty of tonight's weather, South Pike County School District will delay our start time to 10:00 AM on Monday, Jan 22, 2024. This will give us time to ensure our roads are clear and we can transport students safely. If conditions change we will update everyone in the morning. We appreciate your patience and hope everyone is staying warm!

Basketball Postponed: Due to possible hazardous road conditions and freezing temperatures, the games vs. Springhill tonight have been postponed.
We have replaced Gurdon with Springhill on January 29th starting at 5:30 in Springhill. #GoRattlers
South Pike County Schools will resume tomorrow January 19th at the regular start time.

South Pike County Schools will not be able to attend school this morning, Thursday, January 18. The weather has decided to put ice on the roads and we safely cannot send buses out in this! We are sorry for the late notice but safety for everyone is a priority. Please be careful!

School will have a 2 hour delay start time tomorrow Jan 18, 2024. Buses will run normal routes but will be 2 hours later. School will begin at 10:00 am. Thanks for your understanding!
We will delay the start time of school to enable the bus routes to leave after daylight. For the safety of everyone we feel this is the best for our drivers and our students. Thank you to everyone for being patient and understanding through this weather event! See everyone soon!
Basketball Game Postponed: due to Caddo Hills school district having icy road conditions still and not having school Jan 18th, we will be postponing our Caddo Hills makeup games tomorrow. Next set of games will be Friday Jan 19th at Spring Hill JG SG SB 5:30 start. #GoRattlers

After driving bus routes, SPCSD has decided to wait one more day to let temperatures rise and take care of the snow and ice that is lingering. Our students' and parents' safety are a priority to us. Stay warm and see everyone on Thursday! It's always a great day to be a Rattler!
